Yep, 70. They are all up and running now too. I had a few quid in each to no avail. I quite like the astras. Later others were playing it too, so even though it is a little out of place sandwiched between £10 Indiana jones, Jpm popeye and £10 crystal dome, it still got a decent amount of play it seems.

Must admit i was hoping to see some proper video cabs and pinball as well a lot more in.the way of 80s machine s like mpu3 s sru s and sys80 s ???also 2p machines like rat race/cascades etc. Nice to see some kiddies rides at the front and a pusher but didn't see the roulette game nor the horse race game??? Look s like really great clean smart new arcade and the carpet is fantastic. Not quite the seaside arcade I remember but I will still enjoy the experience next month when I go down for a visit .well done Dave and Amelia it's a credit to you both and I know it's a work in progress .

Ah yep there was a pin table. Like I said the photos don't show all of it. I'm not sure about video cabs, but honestly could have been. There was a sit down video table but I forgot to mention it because it wasnt yet ready  They have Daytona, also a work in progress.

Thinking back I think there was a video cab next to the crystal maze quiz machine?

There were also cranes too and some kiddies rides out the front.

They have the maygay coronation street with the line up style trail if it helps. I cant stand that thing :)

Maybe you could convince Dave to swap it out for line up. :)

Dave told me a while ago
that this place will have quite
a few 80s machines including Line Up.
I live in hope!
He also said there would be NO 500s!

Can't wait to get down there, sometime in May for us.

Spinwall looking good Dave :)

Hope there's a Top Trumps on one of those T7s too lol

Theres a few 500s in the newer over 18s section. To be honest I think it's good to offer something for everyone in the best form possible. There are some that will only play 500s. They're not interested in anything less, not even the 100 version of the same game. I don't know the percentages of Dave's, but is hazard a guess they'll be above those in the bookies or the other local arcades. That's before you consider it being a friendlier, better environment to play.

So sure, if people want to play them then chuck a few in the mix. Maybe those people will occasionally have a punt on a few of the classics too.

They aren't really my thing, but I'll chuck a few quid in a 500 too every so often. I'll give most games a go of any era. Not one to put loads in, I get bored of then fairly quick to be honest but yeah I'll chuck a few in as a punt. Mostly it's a loss but I've had the odd decent hit like that which is fun. In my view, you've got a much better chance of a hit on something like that with a few quid in than some forcer that 99 to.es out of 10p requires you to play round the streak for any chance of not coming away with your wallet smashed in.

I don't think you'll find any other commercial arcade that has the array of games on offer here and I don't know of one with a row of oldies like this place has. I'm a fan of the place :). For me it's like reelfruits on steroids.

Fantastic photos cheers for sharing! :) looks amazing!

I was wondering where the mpu3ís were to be fair, will have to ask Dave next time Iím down in a few days. I know he was planning on having a crazy fruits in there too but the crew havenít been able to find it in storage so guessing itís the same situation with lineup etc temporarily until the machines are dug out and found.

Thereís a cocktail table with I presume x amount of games in 1, a stand up cabinet again presuming x amount of games in 1, currently 1 pinball table with a 2nd arriving soon after being refurbished. A 2 player Daytona, cranes, kiddie rides, sports arena clone, horse racing, roulette, a stacker, pushers, chocolate pusher crane, one of those rotating arm machines and a video swp crystal maze. I think itíll be a bit trail and error with how things process. I wouldnít mind seeing a couple more video games though and as time goes on Iím sure a few tweaks will be made here and there. A old Harley Davidson for example I think would be a great edition. Proper wow factor walk up appeal for all ages. Maybe Aqua jet too, they always fascinated me as a kid being so interactive. Actually riding a jet ski!

I don't mind at all, spa. I'd encourage anyone who likes what they see to visit. As David has suggested with his list they don't do the place justice.

Just hoped there would be original vid cabs in like space invaders/ galaxjans /defender/donkey Kong for example  but I know there isn't room for everything. Always scope for chop and change .

Fantastic photos graham.  Looks great.   And after the false start the other week,  this classic venue will now give the Punters proper entertainment nostalgia and the rest.  Without doubt putting the amusement back into AWP

It will be a roaring success  and come the summer I'm sure it be hard to get on a machine,     another few weeks to iron out a few teething problems.   Then I'm sure be bob on 👍🏻,    Good stuff indeed.
