You know Big Kevin, I was there in Feb and I thought I saw as much.  Shame.  It could do with a Mr P's.

Played The Black Hole there back in 88 for the first time.

As in permanently closed? I find that carousel amusements were on the market..... Harbour arcade used to be owned by the Brenners of grand pier Weston till 2001 I think. Don't know if it's still an arcade?
I remember leisure 2000.....
About time i scan some pics of my old arcade soon! Been a while lol !

Hi Mabby mate,

Well, Harbourside is still as it was just closed.

Carousel was the one recently on the market. There have been some of their machines on ebay recently and there were even some machines still in there.

The other one round the other side of the harbour is another confectionary / rock shop now!

Oh, and I would absolutely love to see some pics of your old arcade as Im sure others on here would too!

Where was it?

Evening Vectra,

Don't get me wrong I do think Brixham is a beautiful place in itself but just didn't feel right without having ANY arcades!

I'm sure it was just the initial surprise and at least next time I wont be disappointed!

Paignton Pier is always somewhere I try and visit and Torquay has the large Golden Palms arcade (was there last week too).

One place I would go (if you havn't already been) is Teignmouth Pier in well... Teignmouth!! - Near Dawlish :D

Not too far from where you'll be but they have masses of old coin-op equipment.

I'll pop up some current pics in the next few days.

 :)
