Introduce yourself / Re: Advice please
« on: 04 September, 2018, 21:20:25 »
Hi Everyone, my name is Robbie. I was wondering if anyone could help. I have acquired a rainbow riches fiddler on the roof game. However I have a low battery flashing on the MPU. How difficult is this to replace? Also how difficult is it to convert it to take new pound coins and to add a note reader?
I'm a complete novice so please explain for a dummy.

Many thanks.

Hi Robbie

Welcome to the forum.

Unfortunately I'm not a tech expert so unable to offer any advice on your machine problem, but Mr P and some of our other members will surely be able to offer some suitable advice

Between us all on the forum we have a lot of knowledge so I'm sure we'll be able to help you with your machine.

If you get chance to post any pics of the machines you have that would be great too

Hi Steve,

Welcome to the forum, and thanks for making the effort to introduce yourself (you'd be surprised how many people join but never say Hi)

We've been online over 5 years so have gathered quiet a lot of Topics and posts in that time.

Were a friendly bunch, and just last month had a Forum Meet down at the Reelfruits arcade in maidstone, if you get the chance to visit its highly recomended

I'd suggest this is from the 70's so it is rare in that respect.

However, because of its age it will only really be of value to a collector of this type of machine.

Valuation is hard to give as its only worth what somebody wants to pay, but in my opinion looking at the condition from your photos and the fact its working then its got to be 100+, but sure some of our resident experts would have a better estimate of value.

Your collection is fantastic Rogier. You must have spent some time collecting these.

Is there a lot of collectors over in the Netherlands?
